UAE trying to house Palestinian refugees in Syria?!
The United Arab Emirates and United Nations Relief Works Agency (UNRWA) have reportedly signed an agreement to develop a Palestinian refugee camp in Syria, WAM news agency unveiled Friday.
Under this agreement, the RCA would provide $5 million for financing the project while UNRWA would supervise the execution of the project, which includes construction of 140 residential units to house 670,000 refugees.
'The rehabilitation of al-Nayrab camp, which was constructed 60 years ago, has been a major concern for UNRWA and inhabitants as its houses are dilapidated and on the verge of collapse,' said Peter Ford, commissioner-general of UNRWA.
The effort follows a push by America and Zionist regime to accommodate Palestinian refugees in the Arab countries as a treason-like effort to wrap up the issue of Palestinian refugee.
