Arab heads, U.S. ambassadors in ME
A Palestinian author and journalist described the aim of the Zionist regime's military drills as a move to incite chaos in the region and press the Arabs to budge to the regime.
Rashid Shahin told Qodsna that the Zionist regime was trying to keep Arab nations in its grip and stop their development by provoking tensions in the region.
"Arab governments are not free to decide about their affairs. They only seek to satisfy America," he said, adding that Arabs are rather U.S. ambassadors in the region.
"Zionist regime can not live in peace because any peace would mean the end of regime's era therefore the regime tries to disturb the region, the journalist added.
Asked whether the regime's military exercises were preparations for a new war he said that a new war was unlikely at least in the near future.
Asked about the cooperation of America with Israel in the drills, the Palestinian journalist said America had clearly participated in the exercises.
"America operationally assists the Zionist regime in any activities as a certain policy since decades ago," he said.
"There is a common policy for America and Israel in the fields of ethnic cleansing and genocide," the author said.
