Senegal slams Israeli domination policy
"It is also pressing that the international community make Israel understand clearly that it is illusory to pursue its policy intended to dominate the Palestinian people," Gadio said at the opening of the OIC foreign ministers' meeting.
"We must more than ever pay particular attention to this issue," Gadio told the OIC countries, according to Senegalese press agency.
Describing the Zionist regime as an occupying power, Cheikh Tidiane Gadio stressed that it is particularly urgent to get this country to agree to implement all UN Security Council and General Assembly resolutions.
"The aim is to recognize all inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, including the creation of an independent state without territorial discontinuity, with Al Qods as capital," he said.
The Senegalese senior minister also called for the end of the occupation of Syrian Jolan Areas and respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Lebanon.
While reaffirming the Senegalese government's firm and resolute support for the Palestinian authority, he called on all Palestinians to reconcile unconditionally the Palestinian family in Gaza and the West Bank.
