Iranian, Syrian FMs in Damascus talks

IRI Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki held talks with his Syrian counterpart Walid Muallem in the Syrian capital's airport on Saturday.

The two officials mainly discussed "the situation in Lebanon and in the Palestinian territories".

Mottaki wound up a short visit to Syria on Saturday.

He had a stopover in Syria on his way home from an African tour that brought him to Burundi and Egypt.
