Hamas rallies against Gaza violence

Hundreds of Hamas members rally in the streets of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the southern Gaza Strip protesting Israeli violence.

The rally took place on Friday after Hamas claimed responsibility for the Thursday's shooting incident at the library of a rabbinical seminary in al-Quds which claimed eight lives.

In the rally, loudspeakers broadcasted an announcement claiming responsibility over the shooting attack. "Hamas announces responsibility for the mortal attack," was heard.

The attack has been the deadliest in Israel since April 2006 and the first in al-Quds in four years.

Hamas flag flew at the home of the gunman, identified by neighbors as Ala Abu Dhaim, in his early 20s, after what proved to be a martyrdom-seeking mission.
