Hamas envoy in Tehran: Hamas platform would never change

Abu Osama al-Moti, envoy of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) told Qodsna Tuesday that the movement's approach either when it was away from the political scene or at present, when it is in office has remained the same, adding that under any conditions the movement will keep its platform.

Speaking to a news conference, the envoy said that the movement's doctrine is to adhere to Islamic rights and principles whose major manifestation is to resist the occupiers.

"The platform would never alter," he added.

Al-Moti unheld the right of the Palestinian refugees to return to their motherland. "This is the right of the Palestinian people to possess the legal weapon of resistance. We always pursue right of return, freedom of al-Qods and freedom of occupied lands and would never quit them," al-Moti vowed.

"We seek to cement unity among the Palestinian people despite all pressures. Hamas would never allow discord," he pointed out.
