Real Holocaust underway in Palestine

The visiting Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said In Iraq on Monday that the real Holocaust is currently taking place in the occupied Palestine.

Addressing a group of Iraqi ulema, scholars and university professors, he regretted that the international bodies do not show any reaction to the crimes being committed against Palestinian nation.

"Today, the international organizations are under the pressure and influence of big powers," he added.

Criticizing the performance of the UN Security Council, he said the council cannot make decisions independently and on its own.

He further regretted the lack of justice and spirituality in the UN Security Council.

Referring to historic relations between the two Iranian and Iraqi nations, the Iranian president said big powers made great attempts in the past years to tarnish the existing relations between the two neighboring states. He added that their attempts were vain.

He further invited the Iraqi scholars to visit Iran in the near future.

Meanwhile, several Iraqi scholars welcomed Ahmadinejad's visit to their country.
