Qassam hits Sderot; 11 Israelis hurt

Rocket fired by Palestinian resistance group on Monday evening in Gaza lands near house in Sderot, at least 10 people suffered shock.

The rocket landed in a local yard, causing some damage to a nearby building.

Palestinian Popular Resistance Committees and Islamic Jihad's military wing, the al-Quds Brigades, claimed responsibility for the Qassam fire, saying the fire is natural response to Zionist regime's crimes and aggressions against Palestinians in Gaza Strip and West Bank.

About half-an-hour later, seven rockets landed in the western Negev area.
