Hamas: war against Israel full-scale

Hamas political bureau chief, Khaled Mashaal called Islamic resistance against the Zionist regime a full-scale undertaking.

"Fighting between the resistance and the Zionist regime will be full-scale because the enemy kills the resistance leaders and continues its aggressive actions against our nation. It keeps occupying our lands and making people homeless. It is the resistance's right to defend the Palestinian nation and territories and respond to the enemy's atrocities," Mashaal told Alalam Friday.

The Hamas chief said the Zionist regime commits crime in both Lebanon and Palestine, assassinating the resistance's leaders in these regions and "that's just what it did with Imad Mughniyeh".

Mughniyeh was assassinated in a car bomb blast in Damascus late Tuesday.

Mashaal also noted, "The resistance will fulfill its duty and retaliates for the Zionists' crime. They have started the battle so they should suffer the consequences."
