IRI condemns Mughniyeh assassination

Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Sayyed Mohammad-Ali Hosseini condemned the assassination of Hezbollah senior official Imad Mughniyeh and termed it an obvious example of the Zionist regime's organized state terrorism.

He stressed on the legality of resistance against occupiers and urged the international community to prevent the Zionist regime from such moves "which are in contradiction to international rules."

"Undoubtedly the records of Imad Mughniyeh in struggle against the occupiers are considered as a golden page in the history of resistance against the aggressive Zionists so that the world's free nations will not forget his struggling," he added.

Hosseini expressed his condolences to Mughniyeh's family and fellow fighters as welll as the Lebanese nation.
