Palestinian ambassador urges for unity
Palestinian ambassador to Tehran called on all Palestinain factions to get united, saying "No future for this course without a unity among the Palestinians".
Salah Zawawi made the remarks when speaking in the seminar on 'Recent Development in Gaza Strip from the Viewpoint of International Rights which was held on Tuesday in Tehran in the center of international and political research of IRI foreign ministry.
"We have to get this unity regardless what has happened," the envoy said.
"Hamas and the Authority should find the way to achieve the support of all Arabs, Muslims and every one in the world," he said.
He expressed hope the mediation of Cairo for the resumption of ties between Hamas and Fattah would help them to be get united.
"Nobody is allowed to think that Iran only supports Hamas," he said, adding Iran supports the Palestinian cause.
"The Islamic republic of Iran wishes to see Palestine and Qods liberated," he added.
Zavavi expressed hope that one day all Muslims could pray in Qods after the liberation of Palestine and establishment of an independent state with Qods as its capital.
Palestinian ambassador to Tehran thanked IRI for its support, saying that the Islamic Iran has always supported the Palestinian issue.
