Iran-Saudi condemn Zionist crimes
The Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia on Monday condemned the Zionists' crimes in Gaza Strip and underscored support of all Muslim states for the oppressed Palestinian nation.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and King Abdullah, in a telephone conversation, called for consultation of the Islamic states to help settle the Palestinian issue.
"Today, the Zionists have put the people of Gaza under heavy pressure," Ahmadinejad said underlining the need for holding an urgent foreign ministerial meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC).
For his part, King Abdullah urged international bodies to support the Palestinian people.
