Israeli youth reluctant to join army
The Zionist regime is facing a new dilemma as youth become more reluctant to join the military forces after Tel Aviv's 2006 military failure.
The 33-day war which drew sharp criticism from various Zionists' groups and institutions earlier forced war minister Amir Peretz to step down in disgrace.
Reports also suggest a sharp fall in the number of volunteers for higher military ranks after it was revealed how junior officers were left high and dry by their seniors during the summer ordeal.
The Zionist War Minister Ehud Barak once admitted that the army belongs to only half of the Israelis, but the army maintains that under the current critical conditions it is an obligation, not a choice, for every soldier to try to rise higher in rank.
