Al-Quds Brigades will continue resistance

Spokesman for the Al-Quds Brigades, military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, Abu Ahmad announced on Saturday the movement considers it a duty to continue resistance.

"We are obliged to our leaders' decision regarding ceasefire and will never suspend missile attacks on the Zionist regime's positions."

According to the IRIB reporter from the Gaza Strip, Abu Ahmad stressed that, Al-Quds Brigades would follow all decisions made by its leaders especially in the case of ceasefire.

He also rejected rumors regarding suspension of missile attacks on the Zionist regime's positions near the Gaza Strip.

"Given continued aggresion of the Zionist regime especially the current Holocaust they are committing in the Gaza, the Al-Quds Brigades considers any talk about ceasefire as frivolous," he said.

"At the current stage all efforts must be concentrated on strengthening of internal unity and resistance as well as developing plans to confront any possible aggression against the Gaza Strip," he added.
