Iran envoy slams silence over Gaza

Iran's envoy to Belgium condemns silence over the continuing Gaza genocide by Zionist regime, demanding immediate action against Tel Aviv.

Ali Asghar Khaji made the remarks in a meeting on Thursday with the chairman of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Relations.

Khaji explained Iran's Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's message to the EU official about the miseries of Palestinian women, children, and the aged in the Gaza Strip and the necessity of breaking the world's silence over these crimes.

The Zionist regime's attacks on the defenseless residents of Gaza are a “crime against humanity that is taking place in the Middle East,” the ambassador asserted.

The EU official stressed putting an end to this crisis, adding that the EU has sent its foreign policy chief, Javier Solana, to the region to resolve the Gaza blockade.
