Death to Israel, chanted across 6.5km route

Several millions of people in Tehran took to streets to celebrate the 29th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution Monday.

This year’s edition of the annual marches was also featured by such slogans as death to Israel and death to America, the two slogans which the father of the Islamic Revolution made their theme a key policy since he started his movement in 1964.

According to Qodsna reporter, marchers in Tehran, flooding a route of 6.5 kilometers from Ferdowsi square to Azadi square, the familiar route of the annual marches, were chanting death to Israel in unison.
