7 Palestinians, including teacher martyred

Seven Palestinians including a teacher were martyred by the Zionist regime fire in the Gaza Strip early Thursday.

The teacher was martyred and two other staffers were hurt when an Israeli surface-to-surface missile struck an agricultural school in the northern town of Beit Hanoun, Palestinian security forces said.

The Zionist regime's military frequently attack on Beit Hanoun.

Fighting erupted between Palestinians and the regim's forces after the regime's tanks drove several hundred meters (yards) into the Gaza Strip.

Hamas activists and the Zionist regime's troops traded automatic fire, as Israeli aircraft fired missiles and Hamas lobbed mortar shells.

Five activists men were martyred, three by missiles and two by gunfire, said Abu Obeida, a spokesman for the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas.

The Islamic Jihad Movement said one of its members also was martyred in the clash.
