Israel committing horrific crimes against humanity

Qodsna (Tehran) - Speaking to Qods News Agency, British political analyst, Prof. Rodney Shakespeare talked about the latest developments in Gaza.  

Israel committing war crimes and crimes against humanity and must abide by the "law of war" in protecting innocent Palestinians living in Gaza.

Pointing to the silence of international organizations against Zionist regime’s c rimes and why international organizations don't take action to stop the war in Gaza, he said: Because they are funded by the West and Islamic regimes which -- despite saying they want a two state solution -- are not prepared to force a two state solution which is fair to the Palestinians.

Palestinian resistance movements in Gaza  launched a surprise attack, dubbed Operation al-Aqsa Storm, against the occupying entity on October 7 and  inflicted one of the most unforgettable and stunning defeats on Israel.  The surprise raid shook the occupying entity’s security establishment, leaving 1,500 Israelis dead.

Answering the question about the causes of Operation al-Aqsa Storm, Shakespear said: “Palestine is occupied by an oppressive regime.  The events of October 7 shook the world into realizing the illegality and unjust nature of the occupation”.

In Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, all pillars of Israel’s doctrine were effectively destroyed by the Islamic resistance in Gaza.

“Israel has a second line of defense which goes beyond its failed military arrangements and that is the protection given by the USA, the West and, implicitly, by authoritarian Islamic regimes”, he said.

Answering to the question that many believe that the American government supports the Israel by sending arms shipments and described the US backing of the Israel as giving it the green light to continue slaughtering the oppressed Palestinian people, he said: The green light was given by the American government and it has no intention of turning it to red.
