One Israeli killed, 5 another injured in W. Bank shooting
One Zionist settler was killed and five Israelis was critically injured on Monday morning during a Palestinian shooting operation near the illegal settlement of Kiryat Arba in al-Khalil, south of the occupied West Bank.
According to the Hebrew media, at least one gunman opened fire at an Israeli car traveling on Road 60 near Kiryat Arba, killing one settler and wounding five others.
Israeli medical personnel treated two people at the scene with critical gunshot wounds, later declaring the woman dead.
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a manhunt for the resistance fighters, who used a car in their operation.
Following the incident, the IOF closed the southern and northern entrances of al-Khalil City, causing heavy traffic jams.
On Saturday, a Palestinian resistance fighter shot and killed two settlers in Huwara town near Nablus in the north of the occupied West Bank.
