Palestinians suffer from tear gas during IOF raid in W. Bank village

Several Palestinian citizens suffered from their exposure to tear gas on Thursday during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Tura village, west of Jenin.

According to local sources, the clashes happened after Zionist troops stormed the village, which is located near the separation wall.

The IOF also set up a makeshift checkpoint on a nearby road that leads to neighboring villages and embarked on intercepting cars for security checks.

A horde of extremist Jewish settlers attacked on Thursday evening Dura al-Qari’a village in the north of Ramallah.

Head of the village council Samer Diyab said that settlers from the illegal settlement of Beit El escorted by troops infiltrated into al-Ayoun area of the village and set fire to swaths of agricultural land.

Soon later, Israeli troops intervened and fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at local residents who rushed to the area to fend off the settlers.

In recent days, settlers living in illegal settlements intensified their terrorist attacks on Palestinian citizens and their property in different West Bank areas.
