Palestine now top
priority of Islamic leaders

In an exclusive interview with Qods News Agency, Syrian military and strategic affairs expert, Ali Maqsoud said that the Palestinian issue and status of Palestinian people have been shifted to the top priority of regional nations as well as the resistance axis.

“Thanks to the advantages of the resistance axis in the region against international plots, the chances for liberating occupied Palestine has increased than before,” he noted.

Referring to the presidency of Donald Trump, Maqsoud highlighted that US measures including the moving of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Al-Quds (Jerusalem), the recognition of Al-Quds as the capital of the Zionist regime, pushing forward the so-called Deal of Century and initiating normalization deals between Israel and some Arab regimes brought the Palestinian issue to its worst place in the decades.

“Washington’s pro-Israel policies and Persian Gulf Arab countries’ approach in supporting the Zionist regime have inflicted irreparable damages to the Palestinian issue,” the political expert added.

He then stressed that the recent waves of condemnations by Arab nations and Arab NGOs against the normalization deals with the Zionist regime have put unprecedented pressure on Israel’s interests and its Arab allies.
