Day of Quds, day of fight against oppressive system ruling the world

Islamic Revolution Leader, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei says the upcoming international day of Quds that falls on Friday was not solely a gesture of support to an innocent nation that is driven from its home "but also we are fighting against an oppressive and arrogant political system" ruling the world.

Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in a meeting with a group of university professors.

The leader said defending Palestine ais to defend the truth that is much broader than the Palestinian issue per se.

"Today, to fight against the Zionist regime amounts to fight against the hegemony system in the world," the leader said.

The leader urged the Iranian nation and the rest of the free people worldwide to mark the annual occasion and join the rallies.
