Palestinian envoy hopes for Iran embassy in Palestine

Palestinian ambassador in Tehran expressed hope Iran could establish an embassy in Palestine in the near future.

Salah Zavavi was speaking to Qudsna when asked about a proposal in the Iranian diplomatic scene about opening of an embassy in Gaza.

Asked about whether it was essential to open such an embassy, he said he wished Iran would have an embassy in the Palestinian capital Al-Quds (’Jerusalem’).

“As your leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei said and as late Imam Khomeini wished for praying in Al-Aqsa mosque, we hope this goal would be achieved, Zavavi told Qudsna. 

“Now the situation is ready for establishment of Iranian embassy but we should wait for a better opportunity,” he added.
