Sisi calls Palestinian issue, key to regional stability

Egyptian President Abdulfattah Sisi has urged a solution to the Palestinian issue that is agreed upon by all Palestinian groups.

Sisi has told Egyptian media that his government welcomes any initiative that would help remove the complexities in the issue, according to Ma’an.

Sisi has renewed his support to the US, Arab and France support to the PA-Irseal talks and said his toes with the two sides would help Egypt to serve a ‘pivotal role’ in the issue.

The comments have come however amid Egyptian government’s stance in favor of Israel in the past few years.

Sisi’s government has already kept a decade-old siege on Gaza and strived to have highest levels of ties with the Zionist regime.
