Israel prosecutes 700 Palestinian minors annually

Israel prosecutes 500-700 Palestinian minors before military courts every year for various charges mainly stone throwing, according to Human Rights Watch Organization.

. 220 Palestinian children were detained every month in 2015, it added.

The organization called for halting the detention of Palestinian children without indictments and prosecuting officials for maltreating, torturing, and even killing them during arrest.
