Rivlin speaks of 'Israeli red lines' in Russia

Israeli President Reuven Rivlin has met with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Wednesday.

Israeli media say Rivlin has conveyed to Russian what they call 'Israel’s concerns' about Iranian and Lebanese Hezbollah presence in Syria.

The Israeli President emphasized Israel’s concerns, laying out his red lines vis-à-vis Syria.

Israel would not accept, Rivlin told Putin, the presence of Iranian armed forces near the Golan Heights that was occupied and annexed by Israel in 1967.
