Large momentum behind int'l Quds day

A Qatari university professor says the international day of Quds has already left a tremendous impact on the world public opinion and turned into a global cause for everyone.

“Muslim nations put aside their differences in the day and show their unity to the world and the UN,” Ali al-Heil al-Mahmoud told the Qods News Agency (Qudsna) in Tehran.

“The day is a stride forward,” analyst of the London-based Ray al-Youm daily said.

The analyst said there was a large momentum behind the annual day’s idea, adding Israel seeks to overshadow the day.

Asked about the ISIL terror group, al-Mahmoud said the terror group is a tool in the hand of the Israel and the US and serves as a lifeline for Israel.

“The ISIL group is going to set down an enemy for Muslims instead of Israel so that Israel could take the upper hand” in regional equations, the analyst added.
