Hezbollah would not cede the ground to Zionists, Takfiris

Hezbollah deputy chief Sheikh Naim Qassem said Thursday that the priority font for Hezbollah is against the Zionist enemy, adding that the Lebanese resistance has made the enemy to rethink any whimsical decision to attack Lebanon.

The senior authority ruled out the idea that the existence of the resistance incites Israel to attack Lebanon, adding that no other party could take the task of defending Lebanon in a robust manner.

Qassem pointed out however that the resistance is by no means a replacement for the Lebanese army rather it would join forces with it in defending the country.

The Lebanese personality said the resistance would not leave the field as Zionists or Takfiri terrorists would immediately fill the vacuum.

Qassem also warned that Syria-based terror groups were gearing up for a major offensive deep into Lebanese territory when the winter ends next month.

“Lebanon must study its options well because this project targets all of Lebanon,” he added.

 “Army, people, and resistance” formula guaranteed Lebanon’s ability to confront the terrorist threat, he said.
