3 Israeli diplomats to be fired for criticizing Netanyahu

Three Israeli diplomats would be soon fired after they criticized the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's policies, Qods News Agency reports.

The Zionist Foreign Ministry has confirmed the report, saying it will soon fire Israel's Ambassador to Switzerland, Yigal Caspi, and two other diplomats, Assaf Moran and Yaron Gamburg, from the New Delhi and Paris embassies, respectively.

The three diplomats had re-tweeted messages critical of Netanyahu and his government.

The dismissal came after Israeli news website NRG published a report regarding the original tweets.

Caspi re-tweeted messages by several Israeli journalists, including one by a Haaretz journalist, saying "Every time one thinks Netanyahu has taken the relationship with the White House to the lowest point ever, he manages to take it even lower," referring to Netanyahu's plans to give a speech on Iran before the US Congress.

The visit has been fiercely criticized by the White House, which fears a Congress-backed bill ordering further sanctions on Iran will completely derail the Iranian nuclear talks.

Gamburg and Moran have also re-tweeted comments critical of Netanyahu and his cabinet.
