Israel prepares for racist purge

Benjamin Netanyahu cabinet after years of propaganda and preparations used the chance of the world focus on Iran's nuclear issue in late November and approved a heinous so-called 'Jewish state' bill that would replace the 'Jewish-democratic Stae' with a 'Jewish state.'

This is beyond a mere change of name rather it carries a shift of approach towards the existence and survival of nearly 1.7 million Palestinians who reside inside the 1948-occupied Palestinian territories.

Israel has long been concerned about the originally Palestinian population who account for one fifth of the total Israeli population. Growth rate is far higher among the Palestinian population than Jews so that in less than two decades, the demographic balance would change in favor of the Palestinian side, automatically changing the balance of power in favor of them either.

Another source of concern for Israel is that the Arab population has been effectively involved in the recent massive anti-Israeli protest and largely identifies itself with the resistance groups in Lebanon and Palestine.

And, a third cause of concern is an ever shrinking pace of immigration to Israel that has been compounded by a growing trend of reverse immigration from Israel.

The Arab population has showed to be a source of energy for any anti-Israeli protest and for the same reason Israel has considered it imperative to counter the population. Israeli authorities thought they could stop the Palestinian martyr operations by setting up an apartheid separation wall however the recent development in the Arab-dwelling areas inside 'Israel' showed how the population may pose threat to Zionists.

The Israeli move to approve the racist bill then would act as a flame to a potential internal warfare, helping expand the scope of the Palestinian intifada (uprising) from Gaza and the West Bank deep into Israel.

Netanyahu cabinet's approval may also be a hasty reaction to efforts for the formation of a Palestinian state that has gathered more steam following the EU states' move to recognize the state albeit symbolically.

The regime has also apparently become ever more impudent in its Zionist projects at the backdrop of the passive position of the Islamic and Arab governments towards its aggressions against the Palestinian people and cause.
