19 rubber bullet injuries reported overnight in Quds
Clashes have been continuing throughout occupied al-Quds ('Jerusalem') between Israeli forces and Palestinian youths for the second week in a row in protest against Israeli violations against Palestinian residents and Islamic holy shrines, according to PIC.
At least 19 rubber bullet injuries were reported during the clashes while three youths were nabbed in Sour Baher to the south of the occupied city.
Three Palestinians including a child were transferred to hospital after being shot in the head with a rubber-coated metal bullet, eyewitnesses said.
The 15-year-old child was taken to the operating room as he suffers a high-risk injury.
Israeli forces were deployed in large numbers throughout the neighborhoods and towns of the occupied city, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.
