Israeli security chief takes to occupied Quds
Zionist Minister of Internal Security Yitzhak Aharonovitch has taken to the occupied al-Quds ('Jerusalem') amid a surge of anti-Israeli protests following the suspicious killing of a newly freed Palestinian captive.
Israeli police clashed with Palestinian youths in several locations in the city.
Palestinian groups had declared a “day of rage” in response to the killing by an Israeli police of Moataz Hejazi (32).
Israel wary of the ever increasing protests had sent some 3,000 police to the narrow alleyways of Quds' old city and to Palestinian neighbourhoods throughout the capital.
