Israel has offered the Pentagon to use the regime's Iron Dome missile defense system to protect its troops in Iraq and Afghanistan
Pinhas Buchris, a senior Israeli war ministry official, will travel to the US next week to persuade the Pentagon to use the Iron Dome missile defense system, The Jerusalem Post reported on Thursday.
The Israeli Iron Dome system is under development by the Rafael Armaments Authority and was chosen last year by a war ministry committee as the regime's anti-missile system.
Israel believes that the US Army might be interested in the system to protect its forces in Iraq and Afghanistan.
